Sustainability Management Process

Gaw Capital’s sustainability-related corporate governance is reinforced by taking persistent and substantial measures across the entire investment lifecycle. At the pre-acquisition stage, a comprehensive ESG due diligence is conducted to thoroughly assess potential ESG‑related risks and opportunities. The findings are reviewed jointly by the Investment team and Sustainability team, who then determine whether additional resources or actions are required.

Following approval from the Investment Committee and throughout the operational phase, Gaw Capital monitors day‑to‑day operations to ensure sustainability alignment with industry standards, enhance transparency, and maintain the alignment of interests among stakeholders, in line with Gaw Capital’s policies.

Gaw Capital maintains regular communication with its stakeholders to promote transparency and support long‑term strategic coherence, which including but not limited to quarterly sustainability reporting and continuous engagement with investors.

Sustainability Committee

The Sustainability Committee is chaired by Managing Principal Christina Gaw and was established to support the Board in overseeing the Company’s sustainability matters, including climate-related risks and opportunities. The Committee ensures that sustainability is integrated into all business operations and assists the Board in assessing significant sustainability risks and opportunities, including climate risk management. The committee tracks sustainability progress and manages climate-related risks at a strategic level.

The Committee operates under the Terms of Reference and has the responsibility to ensure proper internal controls, procedures and policies are in place to comply with regulatory requirements related to climate-related risks. Additionally, the Committee is accountable for developing, assessing and communicating sustainability and climate-related targets and action plans, reporting progress through quarterly Committee meetings.
