These parties may contact members of the public via messaging apps (including WhatsApp, WeChat, etc.), social media, email or other channels, and may attempt to solicit money, personal information or participation in purported investment opportunities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Important:<\/strong> Gaw Capital reminds the public to remain vigilant and to exercise caution when receiving any unsolicited communications that claim to be from, or associated with, Gaw Capital or its representatives.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to identify suspicious communications: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Promises of unusually high, guaranteed or short-term investment returns.<\/li>\n<li>Requests to transfer funds to personal accounts or to accounts that are not clearly held in the name of a Gaw entity.<\/li>\n<li>Pressure to act urgently, keep the matter confidential, or communicate only via private messaging groups.<\/li>\n<li>Requests for sensitive personal information (e.g., ID documents, bank account details, passwords or one-time passcodes).<\/li>\n<li>Use of unofficial email addresses (e.g., free webmail domains or similar-looking domains) or phone numbers that do not match Gaw Capital\u2019s published contact details.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What Gaw Capital will NOT do:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Gaw Capital does not send unsolicited messages to members of the public or invite them to messaging groups via WhatsApp, WeChat or social media platforms for sharing stock tips and investment strategies.<\/li>\n<li>Gaw Capital does not solicit funds from members of the public via WhatsApp, WeChat or social media platforms.<\/li>\n<li>Gaw Capital does not request payments, deposits or transfers to personal bank accounts.<\/li>\n<li>Gaw Capital\u2019s personnel will not ask for passwords, verification codes or other credentials.<\/li>\n<li>Any genuine communication from Gaw Capital will be conducted through appropriate official channels (e.g., our official email domain &lt;@gawcapital.com&gt;)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What to do if you receive a suspicious message: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Do not respond, click on links, or open attachments.<\/li>\n<li>Do not provide any personal or financial information and do not transfer any money.<\/li>\n<li>Where possible, block and report the account\/number to the relevant platform (e.g., WhatsApp, WeChat, Email).<\/li>\n<li>Retain evidence (screenshots, phone numbers, account names, messages and transfer details, if any).<\/li>\n<li>If you are contacted by any individual or entity purporting to represent Gaw Capital in relation to investment activities or advice, or if you have any concerns regarding their affiliation with Gaw Capital, please promptly verify their authenticity by contacting us via email at report@gawcapital.com.<\/li>\n<li>If you believe you may have been a victim of fraud, please report the matter to the Police immediately.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Gaw Capital takes this matter seriously.
