People’s Place joining hands with Hennessy (NBA’s official spirit partner) and art group HKwalls, invited Hong Kong-based street artist TAXA to revitalize the community’s rooftop basketball court of Tsing Yi Shopping Centre. Apart from huge symbolic colourful graffiti, local elements such as the skyline, natural hills and spectacular night scenes of Hong Kong are also featured so as to create a celebratory, evolutionary and communal court for all basketball lovers.

Tsing Yi Home Court is the 8th revitalised basketball court under People’s Place’s “Home Court Series” – the project transformed obsolete courts into vibrant community spaces that support grassroots communities and promote youth participation in sports. We believe that partnering with corporates who share a common vision for sustainability can maximise the social value created for the community.
